Young children can easily become overheated and dehydrated so for health and safety reasons, we do not allow children under 5 years to enter the pool rooms at any time. Evening sessions are restricted to 12+.

Guests receive towels and drinking water, additional soft drinks and snacks can be purchased on arrival.

Enjoy a soak whilst also knowing you are supporting local charities and groups who are doing amazing things in the region.

One Original Onsen is available at 8.30am each day. The charity pool is $75 for 1-4 people with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the selected charity at the end of each two-month period.

Pools are released every Monday for the following week.

Our current chosen Charity is Women’s Shed Aotearoa – Queenstown.

Women’s Shed Aotearoa – Queenstown is a welcoming, hands-on space where wāhine come together to build practical skills, confidence and connection. Through workshops, shared learning and community projects, the Shed empowers women to pick up the tools, give things a go, and support each other in a relaxed, judgement free environment.

Funds raised through the Charity Pools help create opportunities for women to learn, create and belong, strengthening both individual wellbeing and our wider Queenstown community.

Health Advisory

We advise anyone with an underlying medical or health condition to consult their doctor should they have any queries regarding the use of the hot pools.

Child Policy

As per our health and safety policy, we do not allow children under the age of 5 to enter the hot pool or pool room as they can easily become overheated and dehydrated.

Ages 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult over the age of 16. We ask that children are accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

To ensure we retain a relaxed, quiet environment after hours for all guests, evening sessions are restricted to 12+.
