Young children can easily become overheated and dehydrated so for health and safety reasons, we do not allow children under 5 years to enter the pool rooms at any time. Evening sessions are restricted to 12+.
Guests receive towels and drinking water, additional soft drinks and snacks can be purchased on arrival.
Enjoy a soak whilst also knowing you are supporting local charities and groups who are doing amazing things in the region.
One Original Onsen is available at 8.30am each day. The charity pool is $75 for 1-4 people with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the selected charity at the end of each two-month period.
Pools are released every Monday for the following week.
Our current chosen Charity is the Bruce Grant Youth Trust.
Bruce Grant was a local Olympic skier, mountain climber and adventurer who passed away descending K2 in 1995, aged only 32 years. Known as the Son of Queenstown, Bruce believed in dreaming big, backing yourself and giving back to the community that supported him.
The Bruce Grant Youth Trust was set up to honour his memory, supporting young people from the Whakatipu region to pursue their potential in sports and arts.
Every soak in our Charity Pool during this time contributes to helping local youth, sports and school groups receive grands from the trust across sports, arts, and leadership.

We advise anyone with an underlying medical or health condition to consult their doctor should they have any queries regarding the use of the hot pools.
Child Policy
As per our health and safety policy, we do not allow children under the age of 5 to enter the hot pool or pool room as they can easily become overheated and dehydrated.
Ages 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult over the age of 16. We ask that children are accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
To ensure we retain a relaxed, quiet environment after hours for all guests, evening sessions are restricted to 12+.
