One Original Onsen is available at 8.30am each day. The charity pool is $75 for 1-4 people with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the selected charity at the end of each two-month period.

Pools are released every Monday for the following week.

Our current chosen Charity is the Remarkables Cancer Gym Charitable Trust.

The Remarkable Cancer Gym Trust was set up to provide opportunities for cancer survivors to access training to help them improve strength, confidence and help manage their bodies post cancer. It also provides an opportunity to share the experience with others in same situation which has built support networks that have lasted long after the gym programme has finished. The trust ensures that the programme is provided at no cost to the participants and at gyms located in the region, removing the barriers of cost and having to travel to main centres to be able to participate.

The gym is for both men and women living in Central Otago who have completed their cancer treatment by 6 weeks. No fitness experience or level is required and the course is 100% free for participants.

Locally, the Programme is held at Alpine Health and Fitness and RCG can take up to 12 participants for a 12 week programme. During the 12 weeks, participants will have two group sessions per week with support and guidance on exercises to complete outside of those sessions.

RCG is very lucky to have trainers Deni, Maria & Anna who deliver and guide low level aerobic and strength exercises to the clients. All their trainers are passionate about making this programme inclusive and supportive. They aim to create a sense of community amongst participants.
